Managing License Allocation

Your Sales Intelligence subscription allows you to identify a Sales Intelligence administrator(s). The administrator manages the assignment of licenses across your sales and marketing teams. Your administrator can be a FreeElite, ProEnterprise, or an Account Management license holder.

Important: You need Account Administrator privileges to manage user accounts and licenses in Sales Intelligence.

License Allocation

As an Account Administrator, you can activate or deactivate existing users in Sales Intelligence. In addition, you can allocate and change license types for active users.  

Once you open the administration options, you can perform the following tasks:

Managing License Allocation for an Active User Account

You can change the license type for a user from one type to another depending on the number of available licenses. The total number of licenses available and the number of unallocated licenses are displayed in the header.

 For example, to change the license from Free to Enterprise:

 1 Open the Admin Page Click Account Admin in Sales Intelligence.

 2 Search for the User To search for a user, click the corresponding license link, browse to or search the user whose license you want changed. For example, to search for a free user click the Free link and then browse to or search the free user and change the license type. Alternately, you can also search a user by name or title in the All Active list. You can also specify the user name in the search field, click 'View All' and navigate to the user whose license you want to change.    
 3 Change the License Type

Point to the corresponding row of the user and click Assign Enterprise license, as illustrated in the following screen:

Viewing Allocated Licenses

The Manage Users tab displays all users by their status and license. The total number of licenses available and the number of unallocated licenses is displayed in the header. 

Step Description Details
 1 Open the Admin Page Click Account Admin in Sales Intelligence.

 2 View Active Users To view all active users, click All Active.

Administering a User Account

You can activate or deactivate a user account in Sales Intelligence.

Deactivate an active account:

Step Description Details
 1 Open the Admin Page Click Account Admin in Sales Intelligence.

 2 Search for the User by name or title Search for the user by name or title under All Active, Enterprise, Account Management, Essential, Professional users list. 
 3  Search for User  Search for a user name or title.

 4 Deactivate Click x in the Deactivate column for the user.

Activate a deactivated account:

 1 Open the Admin Page Click Account Admin in Sales Intelligence.

 2 Open the Deactivated List Click Deactivated in the License list.

 

 3 Search for the User Search for the user by name or title.
 4 Activate  Point to the user and select the appropriate license type.
