The company list allow you to keep track of a personalized list of companies and people to contact them for relevant business opportunities. Here is how you can start with a new list of companies or search for executives:

1 | Start with a New List | In the Target Home page, select Start with a List and click Create a New List of Companies as illustrated below:

2 | Add companies | To add companies to any of the following:
Enter the company name and select them from the search result. When you type in a company name, the account names available in the Demandbase database are populated as shown below: Select the company name that you want to add. For example, Microsoft Corporation. Repeat the same steps to select company names that you want to add. or Copy and paste company names that you wish to add in the list. Make sure the company name starts in a new line when you paste them. For example, copy and paste each name below in a new line:
or Upload a list of companies in a .xlsx, .xls or .csv file with basic company information in it. You can add up to 10,000 companies in a list. Click Upload a .xlsx or .xls file with the following fields to create a company list:
Note: Make sure include one of these mandatory field, i.e. InsideView ID, or Company Name or Website URL in the file. Browse and select the file that you want to upload. |
3 | Go to next | Click Next. The company names are matched with the ones in the Demandbase database as illustrated below:

4 | Review matches | Once the matching process is complete, the results are displayed:

5 | Choose Correct Matches | When the company matches are not found, choose correct matches and click Find the correct company link.
You can also choose a correct company by clicking the Edit icon as shown below: Click Yes in the Confirm Action dialog. Repeat same steps to match all companies. Once all companies are matched, click Next. |
6 | Save | Review your list of matched companies that you have added and click Finish.
Once all companies are saved, you are prompted to enter a name for the list. Enter a desired name for your list and click Save. |
7 | View and search within a list | Once the list is saved, the new list page appears in edit more where you can search for companies and people within the Saved Search page as illustrated.

8 | Edit Lists | Click the Save link at the top to open the Save Lists and Search page. In this page, edit or delete the list from the page by selecting the desired list as illustrated below:
To search and filter people within the companies in your existing list. For example, if you have created a new list with three companies, you can click on the Search icon to filter people from those three companies. |
Build Searches from Company Lists
Create a list of employees with a certain job function at a single company of interest or for every company on a Watchlist.
To build a people list for a specific company:

Go to Demandbase CRM View and then click Build a List. or In the Demandbase Web View, click the Build a List link. |
2 | Select the company name |
Click the Company Name filter in the Companies tab and enter a company name. For example, enter Microsoft and click Search. Note: If you want to build a people list for all companies in your watchlist, select a desired Watchlist from the Saved List drop-down menu as illustrated: |
3 | Search for People |
Apply any applicable people filters and click Search. From the search results page, select the People tab In this example, the People search shows all Vice Presidents for Marketing at Microsoft as illustrated: |
4 | Save the Search |
If you want to save your search criteria, click Save and then enter a name for the criteria to save it for future reference.
