Adding Demandbase to your Account and Contact page views is simple. Follow the detailed instructions below to customize your SAP CRM instance.
As an SAP user, you will be using either Silverlight or HTML5 in your SAP CRM. The procedure to configure Demandbase in these two variants is slightly different and this article clearly explains both. However, note that you don't need to download any additional file or package to configure Demandbase in your SAP client. It may be noted that SAP Hybris Sales Cloud is generally referred to the entire suite. Within Sales there is SAP C/4 HANA (C4S - which is cloud/on-demand CRM), Cloud for Customer (C4C), and also includes Cloud for Social, Cloud for Service, Cloud for Marketing. Most often this environment is referred to as C4C.
Prerequisites
Before configuring Demandbase Sales for an account or contact object, you must complete the prerequisites that are required to create a communication channel. For more information, read the article Prerequisites for Configuring Demandbase Sales and SAP C/4 HANA Integration in our Knowledge Base.
Verify in which mode you're currently in - Silverlight or HTML5. To do this, navigate to Adapt -> Company Setting in your SAP session and click the Client tab and click the appropriate links below and follow the instructions to configure Demandbase package:

Configuring Demandbase for an Account in HTML5 Mode
To configure the Sales Intelligence CRM view for an Account page within your SAP CRM, perform the steps outlined below.

3 | Go to Customer Account | Click Customers to view a list of your customer accounts, then click an account. The following screen appears:

4 | Open an Account | Locate an Account in your SAP C/4 HANA and open it.

5 | Go to Personalize Section |
Click Personalize, then select Start Personalization. or, Click Adapt and then select Edit Master Layout. |
6 | Start Personalization | In the Edit mode, click the Grey Bar in the Items Summary section and select the Plus + symbol, as shown in the screen below, then select Add Mashup.
The following screen appears: Scroll down to the Sales Intelligence for Account(insideview.com) option and select the checkbox. Minimize the Properties window by clicking the minus (-) sign and click Apply. Note: If you want to see the complete Demandbase widget, double-click Mashup and Webservices to display Properties, then check the box adjacent to Full Width. |
7 | Go to Adapt | Once changes are completed, go to Personalize> End Personalization.

Configuring Demandbase for a Contact in HTML5 Mode
To configure the Sales Intelligence CRM view for a Contact page within your SAP CRM, perform the steps outlined below.

Locate a Contact in your SAP C/4 HANA and open it.

Click Personalize, then select Start Personalization. or, Click Adapt and then select Edit Master Layout. |

Configuring Demandbase for an Account in Silverlight Mode
To configure the Sales Intelligence CRM view for an account within your SAP Sales Cloud, perform the steps outlined below.

Click Yes when the system prompts you for confirmation. The Adapt menu will now display the Edit Screen option. |
