Using the Data Integrity Update Button in Microsoft Dynamics CRM

The Data Integrity Update button allows users in your organization to quickly update Accounts, Contacts, and Leads with InsideView’s comprehensive firmographic and demographic data directly to the Microsoft Dynamics record.

Note: Once the Insights package is installed, by default, The Data Integrity Update button is added to the page header of Microsoft Dynamics CRM. It will be visible on default and custom forms of supported entities.

To use the Data Integrity Update button, follow these steps:

Step Description Details
1 Log in Log in to with admin user credentials.
2 Go to the Insights page

In the Microsoft Dynamics CRM page, select the SalesHub with InsideView Insights app, and click Sales link, then select the InsideView item as illustrated:


In the App Launcher window, select the Insights app and search for Microsoft account as illustrated:


3 View the Data Integrity CRM View Go to an Account and select the Data Integrity Update button at the top of the account record.


Click Data Integrity Update to allow users to update CRM field values for that record with the latest InsideView fields and sync the most recent data to CRM with a single click on Update Account as illustrated:


Repeat the same steps for Contacts and Leads to update/sync the latest InsideView data.

4 Update a Suggested Match If a record does NOT have any match in the data management process. You can choose the best match from a list of available options found in the Suggested Matches.


5 Edit a match Click the Edit Match link as illustrated:


A list of suggested matches appears. Search for the correct company by typing the name in the search box. Locate the correct company and click the Select link.


A green tick indicates the newly paired company and you can now sync the data into your CRM.
