Accessing Sales Intelligence on Salesforce 1 App

Sales Intelligence is available with the Salesforce1 App on iOS, Android, and other operating systems. This enables users to view detailed insights about Leads, Accounts, Opportunities and Contacts when using their Salesforce1 App. 

Important:

Adjust the settings under Visualforce page properties to make sure your Salesforce1 app doesn't auto-direct you to the Sales Intelligence web app. 

In Salesforce, go to the Visualforce Page Properties and apply the following settings:

  • Width to 100 
  • Height to 400
  • Show scrollbars : Disabled
  • Show label : Disabled

 

Accessing Sales Intelligence on iOS Devices

Accessing Sales Intelligence from your Salesforce1 App in iPhone and iPad is easy. Sales Intelligence enables you to seamlessly login to its widget and the app based on your Salesforce1 login session. 

Step Description Details
1 Enable Cross-Website Tracking With iOS 14, Apple placed additional tracking restrictions on third-party applications. In your IOS device, enable cross-website tracking and allow access to Demandbase. See the Salesforce Enable Cross-Website Tracking article for instructions. 
2 Go to your Salesforce1 app In your Salesforce1 App, Sales Intelligence widget appears as illustrated below.

Note: If you do not have Sales Intelligence Mobile installed, tapping here takes you to the Apple app store where you can download and install it. If you are installing the Sales Intelligence app, you will need to come back to Salesforce1 app and tap the Sales Intelligence widget again.
3 Tap Sales Intelligence widget from Salesforce1 The screen below displays company insights as it appears in the Sales Intelligence iOS app.

Note: To view detailed insights, you must have Sales Intelligence Mobile installed in your iOS device.

Here you can also search or browse through other companies or contacts. You can sync your meetings to view up-to-the-minute insights about companies and executives you are going to meet. You also get News Feed about the companies you are following or going to meet. Not just this, you will also be notified latest news about companies of your interest.

When you browse through Accounts, Leads, or Opportunities, Sales Intelligence displays the company information.

4 Multiple Company Results If there are multiple results, the Sales Intelligence widget displays the following screen:

5 Resolve multiple matches Tap View Companies to go to the following screen:

 

6 Select Company to View Insights Select the appropriate company and tap View to see detailed insights.
7 Search your target company If there are no matches, you can still search for your target company by tapping the ‘Search’ button displayed on Sales Intelligence widget, as illustrated in the screen below.

Tap Search to access the Sales Intelligence Global Search pane, then specify your contact or company search data.

  

Browse a Contact in Salesforce1

 
Step Description Details
 1 Browse a contact When browsing through a contact in your Salesforce1 App, Sales Intelligence widget appears as illustrated below.

 

 2 View Detailed Insights Tap the Sales Intelligence area to view detailed insights. The detailed insights screen appears as illustrated below:

 3 Multiple contact matches When you browse through a contact, you may receive multiple matches, as illustrated in the screen below:

 4 Resolve multiple matches Tap View Profiles to resolve multiple matches. The following screen appears:

Select the appropriate profile and tap View. If there are no matches, you can still search for your target contact by tapping ‘Search’ button displayed on Sales Intelligence widget. 

 

Accessing Sales Intelligence on Android/Other Operating Systems

Accessing Sales Intelligence widget from your Salesforce1 App on Android and other operating systems is easy. The process explained above remains same for non-iOS platforms as well. However, the Salesforce1 App redirects to touch.insideview.com site when you tap Insights from your app.

In your Salesforce1 App, Sales Intelligence widget appears as illustrated below.

 2  View Insights  Tap the above screen. The company details screen appears, as illustrated below:

 3  Browse a Contact  When browsing through a contact in your Salesforce1 App, Sales Intelligence widget appears as illustrated below.

 4  View Insights Tap the Sales Intelligence area to view detailed insights. The detailed insights screen appears as illustrated below:
