Watchlists enable you to follow people or companies for relevant business opportunities. This article provides detailed instructions for the following:

Create a Static Watchlist

If you are using an InsideView Enterprise license for Salesforce CRM and haven’t yet created your Automated CRM Watchlist, the following dialog appears. Click the Static Watchlist.

3 | Save the Static Watchlist | On the Watchlist Details pop-up, type in the name of your Watchlist and click Save.
Once you create the Static Watchlist, you can add companies you want to follow or you can add companies and people from individual records in InsideView. |
Add Individual Companies to a Watchlist
When viewing a company record, click the Follow button. A list of your Watchlists will appear. You can select one or more Watchlists to add the company to.
Note: You can also Follow people by clicking on the eyeball icon to add them to a Watchlist.
Add Multiple Companies to a Watchlist

2 | Pick the Watchlist |
Select the Watchlist to which you would like to add companies to by clicking the appropriate tab. If you have more Watchlists that can be displayed, the additional Watchlists will be under the More tab. |
3 | Add the required companies |
Click the "Add" (+ sign) button and then enter or paste company names or URLs into the "Enter your Companies" box. You can separate companies with either a comma or a new line. To limit your search to a specific geographical location, click the "Search for companies in" drop-down and select the location. |
4 | Search for companies |
Click Search to see a list of matching companies. The most likely match (based on popularity) will be listed first. |
5 | Save the Watchlist | Make sure the correct company is checked for each match, then click Add to Watchlist at the bottom of the page. |
Add People to a Watchlist

On the People Details page, click the Follow (eyeball) icon below the person’s name and title. Select one or more Watchlists from the drop-down list to add people to the desired Watchlist. |
Export a Watchlist

Delete a Watchlist

Managing Your Email Alert Settings
InsideView sends you regular email alerts with news updates for companies on your Watchlists. By default, you will receive a daily summary email. However, you can change the frequency of the email or stop receiving it.
Change Email Alert Settings

4 | Select the Frequency | Under the Alert Me section, select the frequency as Daily, Weekly or Never (off). The Never(off) option will turn off email alert notifications for Watchlists. |
5 | Select the Email type | In the Email Type section, select the type of news either as All News or Summary. |
6 | Select the Email format | In the Email Format section, select your preferred email format either as HTML or Plain Text. |
7 | Close | Changes are saved automatically. Click Close to exit the settings panel. |
