Understanding the Sales Intelligence Access Options
There are two ways you can access Sales Intelligence.
Accessing from your CRM
If your company has integrated Sales Intelligence with your CRM, you will see an Sales Intelligence "frame" inside CRM records. Because the Sales Intelligence frame brings in information from outside your CRM, in Internet parlance, it is sometimes referred to as a "CRM View".
Configurations can vary. However, you will generally see the Sales Intelligence "CRM View" from the following CRM record types:
- Accounts
- Opportunities
- Contacts
- Leads
You don't need a separate username or password for Sales Intelligence. Simply go to a record in your CRM and scroll down until you see a frame that resembles the one above.
You can browse Sales Intelligence tabs from within the CRM View. However, clicking on a company name, person name or certain other links will open a new browser tab for the Web View of the Sales Intelligence interface.
The Web View interface gives you access to additional features, including Sales Intelligence's search and list building features. So if you don't see a feature you're looking for, try going to the Sales Intelligence Web View by clicking the hamburger menu in the top right corner and clicking “Open InsideView.com”.
Accessing in Web View mode
If your company has not integrated Sales Intelligence with your CRM or you use Sales Intelligence features that are not included in the CRM View, you access Sales Intelligence in Web View mode by going to https://my.insideview.com in your internet browser.
